Double Jeopardy

What is it?...Teams play both an 8-ball and a 9-ball match in the same evening.

Say what?!?  Sounds confusing!...It's not.  Teams play one match of 8-ball on "one table" and a 9-ball match on a "second table" at the same time.

Wow!  Tell me more!...Team rosters can either be the same on "both" your teams (the most common) or your team may actually consist of separate "8-ball" and "9-ball" rosters.  Carrying anywhere from the minimum 5 players to a maximum of 16 on both teams.

How do I keep score?...Just like in regular league play, there will be one 8-ball and one 9-ball scoresheet used.

What are the benefits of Double Jeopardy?...Well, to begin with, it's TWICE THE FUN!  It's Double your chance for your team to Qualify for "City."  It's TWICE THE ACTION for all you pool junkies!

What else?...Well, for those of you that only have one night free a week for pool but can't decide on either 8-ball or 9-ball, this is your perfect solution...a 2-for-1 deal!

Sounds good, but what does this cost?...The team fees are still the same as in regular league play.  Remember though, that Double Jeopardy is actually "two" teams.

What else should I know?...Any host location needs to have a minimum of 2 pool tables available for league play.

I'm ready, sign my team up!...Any team interested in participating in Double Jeopardy should contact us by email (or phone) and include Team Name, Captain, Night of Week, Host Location, and an Alternate Host Location (if possible).
